WHAT IS THE SERVE TEAM?

The Serve Team is made up of incredible people that are discovering their gifts and passions and are actively serving in them at ConnectPoint. We offer many different teams to make it easy for you to serve. From greeting guests on Sunday, to broadcasting our services via livestream. From teaching children about Jesus, to communicating the Gospel through dramatic elements. Each team makes an eternal impact.

Take the next step in joining the Serve Team by getting started on the Next Steps journey. Next Steps is designed to equip you to live life as a fully-devoted follower of Christ—from learning the essentials of our faith to discovering and fulfilling your God-given purpose.

Serve Team Sign Up

The Cleaning Team keeps our facility clean and ready to receive members and guests at ConnectPoint Church.

The Events Team serves at special services and church-wide events by setting up decorations and facilitating meals and snacks.

The Guest Services Team brings a personal touch to our worship experiences by welcoming people as they enter the church, at the guest services desk, in the lobby, at coffee stations, and in the auditorium.

The Kids Check- In Team facilitates the check-in process for Elementary and Nursery/Preschool to ensure children are cared for effectively and efficiently.

The Kids Elementary Team invests in the lives of children through worship, Biblical teaching, videos, small groups, and games.

The Kids Nursery/Preschool Team serves children through Bible stories, worship, prayer, hands-on activities and personal interactions.

The Next Steps Host Team serves as the hosts of Next Steps events by greeting guests and providing materials and assistance to those discovering their next steps at ConnectPoint Church.

The Prayer Team provides prayer covering for services, teams and ministries at ConnectPoint Church. 

The Production Team assists in the production of the overall worship services, using lights, cameras, sound, livestreaming and other visual elements.

The Scripted Drama Team communicates the Gospel through musical and dramatic elements to our community.

The Serve Team Central Team hosts our Serve Team members in Serve Team Central by providing food and encouragement during services and special events.

The Servanthood Missions Team spreads the love of Christ to greater Cedar Rapids area. From feeding people at local homeless shelters to serving our community in practical ways, this team is passionate about sharing Christ in practical ways. 

The Small Groups Host Team is trained to facilitate Small Groups and equipped to build relationships while helping group members discover their next steps.

The Youth Team helps students (6th - 12th grades) get connected to our ConnectPoint Youth ministry through small groups, retreats, camps, conferences, and other youth events.
